Moak 2013 Competitions. Riotta and Ghezzi presidents of the jury.

Gianni Riotta and Enrico Ghezzi will be the two presidents of Moak Literary and Short-film competitions 2013. Two well-known names of Italian journalism and cinema, who together with other colleagues in the board, will have to choose stories and short-films with coffee as protagonist this year.

Gianni Rotta, journalist at La Stampa, already director of Il Sole 24 ore and of the TG1 (newscast), will lead the Moak Literary Competition, which reached its XII edition, availing himself of a jury of all respect: Gianni Cascone (scriptwriter), Guido Conti (writer), Gianluca Morozzi (writer) and Susanna Tartaro (editor Fahrenheit Radio 3 RAI), already at work with more than three hundred received manuscripts, beating the numbers of participants of past editions. Five finalists are going to be chosen among these and will compete for the title of best story 2013.

Instead, the VIII Corto Moak edition, international short-film competition, will be proud of the name of Enrico Ghezzi, film critic and author of Blob and Fuori Orario, historical satire programmes broadcasted on Raitre. Ghezzi will be supported by a standing board: journalist Cristina Borsatti, director Francesco Calogero and Giannandrea Pecorelli, film producer of Oscar winner “Violino Rosso” (The Red Violin) and of the film “Notte prima degli esami” (Night before the exams).

Authors and filmmakers will be able to have the honour to introduce their works to illustrious names of the National film setting. The jury will choose the best short-films, which will be respectively awarded with “Best Short-film”, “Best direction” and “Best Script”. Winners of Caffè Letterario and Corto Moak 2013 will be revealed during the prize-giving evening held on October 5th in Modica, in the premises of the new Moak offices.
