This is the main purpose of SCAE (Speciality Coffee Association of Europe), the worldwide main organisation grouping professionals of each field in the coffee industry. In this perspective, Caff\u00e8 Moak, being the only company in Sicily boasting an Ast (<\/span><em><span class=\"CharOverride-15\" lang=\"en-GB\">Authorised Scae Trainer<\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-GB\">), hosts courses for Scae certifications, the most prestigious certifications worldwide for aspiring barmen and professionals. The first two appointments in the region of Sicily were held in the training room of Moak\u2019s office district in Modica. Special trainers Andrea Lattuada and Marcello Vitello attended the course, being respectively national coordinator and communications manager of Scae Italy. Joined by Marco Poidomani, for[me]moak Ast trainer, who held the courses of \u201cbarista skills\u201d together with Lattuada and Vitellone. Next scheduled appointment for the Scae courses promoted by Caff\u00e8 Moak will be in November. The following dates will be every two months and will be published on the website\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">store.caffemoak.com\/it\/formetraining<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">. The second module is the one of \u201cbasic barista skills\u201d representing an excellent introduction to basic skills in a specific field and helps attendees to decide whether to go on and enhance their knowledge. The third level is \u201cintermediate barista\u201d, suitable for those who are already working in the sector and have a good knowledge of basic skills. These courses last at least one or two days.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">Aim of such meetings is to promote and spread the culture of quality coffee and increase coffee standards through a deep training activity, enhancing knowledge and education.
