Caffè Moak also attended Milan’s Food- ies Lab, an event promoted by the city of Milan dedicated to Italian wine and food excellences held last April at the Urban Center within Vittorio Emanuele Gallery, one of the most prestigious places of the city. The event focused specifically on some important topics: healthy cooking, pork meat, coffee, gluten free and locally sourced food. A happening dedicated to all food lovers, where Moak was chosen as Italian company example that cares about quality and promotes art and culture.
Our coffee was protagonist during the rich event schedule including conferences, de- tailed studies, tasting and show cooking labs: audience and visitors of the heart of Milan could taste the Moak blends. Even Milan’s pri- mary schools were invited to the event, and students took part with great enthusiasm in the Latte Art and Bartending Junior labs: the format created by Moak People Training school, so that even the youngest learn the art of decorating cappuccino (latte paint) and the American blending technique (bartending) to create non-alcoholic drinks. A laboratory “from plant to cup”, a journey in search of coffee beans, was dedicated to those passioned about coffee and to professionals of the sector. Moreover, Moak presented the 2016 contest editions of Caffè Letterario and Fuori Fuoco to the Milanese public during the event, while the 2015 winning photo works were exhibited within Vittorio Emanuele Gallery during the whole week. On this occasion, even the wall book “White flower and coffee berries”, editorial project of Verbavolant in cooperation with Moak, was presented. Keynote speakers were Pia Parlato, author of the story, Angelo Ruta, illustrator and Marco Lentini, graphic designer of Caffè Moak.
