Sorelle Marinetti
Le Sorelle Marinetti is the name of an Italian singing/acting trio (Nicola Olivieri, Marco Lugli e Andrea Allione). The idea came from author and producer Giorgio Bozzo, with the aim to support a comeback of swing elements, which used to be very popular in the mid nineteen-thirties in Italy – also thanks to the fact that radios became easily available in everybody’s household. Since its beginnings, the trio’s performances have been having great success: they’ve been taking part in the most renowned national and international festivals and theatres. In 2010, the Marinetti sisters accompanied Arisa’s song “Malamoreno” on stage of the Ariston. The year after, Vinicio Capossela asked them to join him for the choir of “Pryntyl”. In 2012, Sorelle Marinetti played a duet with Simone Cristicchi during the Caruso Award broadcasted on Raiuno.
