Notes of coffee and music at Milan’s Music Street

“The street is the biggest theatre of the world”. The quotation of Daniele Rossi, first viola of the Filarmonica della Scala, has been the spot for the great Music Street event held in Piazza Gae Aulenti, within Milan’s new vital centre. At the feet of the very modern Unicredit Tower, Italy’s highest skyscraper, music was protagonist in an original mix between classic, pop and rock genre. A collective performance presented by dj Linus, where five street performers chosen with an online contest and five musicians of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Scala exhibited together for the first time. Even Caffè Moak in cooperation with Feltrinelli RED, the new food&culture point serving moak blends, took part in this event. With the help of Pedrali, Moak set up a real bar on the road in the majestic square at the feet of the Unicredit Tower, offering the numerous present spectators its best blends, as well as hot chocolate tasting. A magic evening between notes of music and the ones of coffee aroma, in order to celebrate Unicredit’s 15th birthday and a partnership with the Filarmonica della Scala, with the aim to approach a music genre considered an élite to a wider audience. Moak, who has always been responsive to promote art and culture and support young talents, shares this message.
